After Alliant died a few months ago, I was trying to figure out what else I could use on Google Pay. I wound up using PPBDC on there and was surprised to find out it was coded as SIGNATURE and thus earning the 1%. Unfortunately, it seems around mid May 2019, Google and/or Paypal was quick to fix that loophole and now the card is seen as a credit card and not debit.
It’s getting hard to find a place to use PPBDC to earn the 1% and harder to find a way to earn rewards on Google Pay.
