Introduction
I had to create a new Paypal account a few months ago. I had been waiting to buy some gift cards from Paypal Digital Gifts and it seems that after 2 months, they finally let you. If you try before that, you get an error saying you can’t use that payment method and that you have to log in to Paypal. Of course after you log in, you get the same error. Rinse and repeat.
Well after 2 months and 3 days to be precise, I was finally able to buy it. I didn’t try at day 60 exact, but I’m guessing that’s the magic day. I had tried it at day 50 or so, and I kept getting the verification loop. I tried it again on day 63, and BOOM! Worked! So now you know.
Vinh, did you season the account with any non-PPDG purchases in the meantime?
Yeah I bought some random SVM GC’s (maybe only 2 or 3 though.) After this post went live, sure enough I was blocked again for trying to buy Bed Bath & Beyond, so go figure.
