Are you a heavy reseller? Let’s talk

As regular readers of this blog know, I’m pretty much out of the reselling game.  I FINALLY logged into my Amazon account the other day, withdrew my Apple pencil, dropped the price on 3 items just so they would sell and that’s pretty much it.  I still have some stuff in my basement that I’ need to ship to Amazon and totally missed the holiday season.  I’ve consciously stopped buying more items to resell though.  Sorry Kohl’s, 40% won’t bring me back into the game!  Maybe it’s due to all the retailer bans that have put me off; I just don’t have the motivation to resell anymore.  Plus, it’d be awesome to get rid of all those boxes in my basement.

With that said, I know some heavy hitter resellers read my blog from when I actually was reselling, so this is directed at you.  Have you maxed out your Ink and now buying gift cards from a 3rd party exchange at a 2% discount with your 2% cashback card to squeeze out some more margin?  Well, let’s talk.  Yours truly has stockpiles of first-hand wont-go-bad gift cards.  I have Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, Sears, Amazon, Disney, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Toys R Us, Gamestop, Best Buy, etc.  Shoot me an email at vinh@milesperday.com and let’s talk.

  1. What kind of payments are accepted? What kind of guarantee is provided? Where do you source these cards from?

    1. Bank p2p is easiest. Cards are sourced first hand. Guarantee is they’ll work as long as my site is up cuz if it doesn’t work, you can blast me on here or on Twitter. My reputation is too important to scam 1 single reader.

      1. Easiest for you perhaps. What would be the incentive to purchase from you rather than the more established exchanges/marketplaces, especially since they will accept card payments and as we all know: Float is King.

So you could provide the activation slips and/or receipts for all of them since you bought them yourself?

  2. Damn, I would’ve bought almost everything you had a few weeks ago. FBA has been an absolute disaster this season. It’s taking 16+ days from when I send something off till when I can actually send it. Some other people in my group are getting their stuff available for sale in less than 4 days from when they send it off. I have a few shipments that are already past the 21 day mark!

      1. It all depends on which warehouse you’ve been shipping to. ONT8 in CA is mine and it’s horrible. Friends shipping to the Tampa warehouse from Orlando get overnight delivery and items are received same or next day. It’s crazy how different it is. I’ll be lucky to break even this season.

Need to find another way to make money.
