DEAL DEAD – The time you could get more than 4 Serve subaccounts

Introduction

I’m fairly confident this deal is DEAD DEAD and has no chance of coming back to life.  Plus, who actually still uses a Serve card anymore?  Anyway, this deal was told me to me years ago when Serve was popular.  I’m not sure how he figured it out, but the trick was genius.  Remember that back then, Bluebird and Serve limited you to 4 subaccounts only.  This was also the time when the AMEX offer multi browser trick was being written about.

The trick

Let’s say you already have 3 subaccounts on your Serve account.  To add a 4th account, most people would just LEFT click on the ‘add subaccount’ button and fill in the info.  However, if you CONTROL-LEFT click or RIGHT-CLICK-OPEN-NEW-TAB, you could add basically as many subaccounts that you wanted.  You would then move to one of those tabs and submit the 4th sub.  Then move to another already opened tab and fill in the 5th sub… and so on.  When you pushed submit on the 5th account, the system didn’t check whether you already had 4 subaccounts.  The verification was only when you did the LEFT-CLICK on the ‘add sub’ button.

Conclusion

I only did this for 1 account.  When I tried it a few weeks later for another account, they had fixed their system.  Just goes to show – even without a blog post, deals can naturally die.

And yes, I still have this account.  I haven’t used it in years since there haven’t been any good Twitter AMEX Offers, but the Newegg one did make me dust off this account.  Funding the account you ask?  Just think outside the box how else you can get money into the account without loads.

      1. No I think the Best Buy cards went quick. I used to use these to load up on Ebay GC but those are pretty much worthless now. I just hate dealing with $100 VGC haha.
