A few weeks back, I wrote about how a reader got his United Mileage Plus X account got shut down. Well after following up with them, they have restored both his MPX and UA accounts. We’re still not sure how and why they believed it was fraud and why they have restored his account, but he’s not complaining. Now if only Paypal was that reasonable…
Apple Watch
The other day, I woke up and picked up my Apple Watch from its charging base. I felt there was a little water on the back and it was hotter than normal. I didn’t think much of it since it still was working. However, 12 hours later, the battery died and it wouldn’t charge anymore. It wouldn’t even power on by holding down the power button. Eventually, I held down the turn dial and the phone booted up. That was very close. Lesson learned – it’s probably best to make sure the back of the watch isn’t wet or moist when you start to charge the watch.
