Register before March 31, 2015 and the promo gives you 20% back in points for every award stay through July 31, 2015. This promo has definitely affected where I would normally stay through July. I was worried that I wouldn’t get the 20% back for my Puerto Vallarta trip since the t&c made it sound like it was only good for new reservations. However, some bloggers confirmed with Hyatt that it would work for existing reservations as well. I didn’t bother to call, trusting in “the system.” Anyway, as you can see below, it takes about 3 days for the points to post. I got 32K bonus points for the 2x80K awards that I checked out on March 7. I am assuming I’ll see the 40K points for the 2 March 8 checkouts soon.
